Wizz Air restarted direct flights between Budapest and Seoul with Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft
Good news for those who love Far Eastern travel: Wizz Air restarted its direct flight between Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport (BUD) and Incheon International Airport (ICN) in Seoul from October 27, 2024. Flights will operate twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays, with modern Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, ensuring a comfortable journey on the long flight. Tickets are already available for booking on the Wizz Air website (wizzair.com) and the Wizz Air mobile app.
This resumption significantly facilitates business and tourist travel between the two countries. South Korea’s rich culture, modern cities, and stunning natural beauty attract tourists, while it represents important trade relations for Hungarian business people with the Far Eastern country. Thanks to the direct flight, travel time is significantly reduced, allowing travellers to spend more time at their destination. With the resumption of the flight, Wizz Air further strengthens its position in the Eastern European market, competing with other airlines such as LOT Polish Airlines, which also offer connecting flights to Seoul.
