The Vienna Zoo is buzzing with excitement: Giant Pandas are back!

Looking for a great pre-school adventure? The beautiful giant pandas, Lan Yun (female) and He Feng (male), have officially returned to the Vienna Zoo. Born in 2020, the pair arrived from China in April and made their grand public debut in mid-May with a spectacular Chinese lion dance ceremony.

Their modernised habitat now features a larger indoor area, an outdoor climbing space, new lakes, and a stunning “Imperial Pavilion.” Thanks to a 10-year cooperation agreement with China, these charming bears will be staying in Vienna long-term.
