Prepare for an even worse summer for flight delays!

European airlines are bracing for further significant air traffic control (ATC) disruptions during this year’s summer travel season.

Experts are already warning that delays could be even worse than those experienced in 2024.

Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary is also pessimistic about any improvement in the situation. O’Leary predicts that delays in 2025 will exceed the levels seen in 2024.

At the Routes Europe conference, Ourania Georgoutsakou, Managing Director of Airlines for Europe (A4E), also expressed concerns about the challenges facing air traffic control.
